 Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager – Customer Marketing & Partner Enablement to join our Product & Engineering team! As a Sr. PMM you’ll shape how we communicate value to our existing customers and lead development of partner enablement. Unlike traditional PMM roles, where involvement starts post-development for product launches, you will be engaged from day one of the product life cycle. Creativity and copywriting are the most important skills you’ll bring to the table. Your work will directly impact product adoption, client retention, and partner engagement making this a key role in helping clients get the most out of CareerPlug.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create emails that connect, convert, and show a deep understanding of our audience using copywriting frameworks to drive engagement and action
  • Execute and manage sending emails (segmentation, timing, and deliverability)
  • Lead all A/B testing and experimentation, and monitor email performance to uncover insights and continuously improve results
  • Write content for partner enablement and collaborate with one of the most amazing creative agencies to bring it to life
  • Ensure all content aligns with product positioning, partner needs, and launch goals
  • Experience coordinating go-to-market strategies with internal teams
  • Drive multiple initiatives while ensuring quality and on-time delivery

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, partnerships, customer experience and marketing, to ensure the product is continuously delivering value that clients and partners love and works for the business. You should be passionate about helping customers achieve success with CareerPlug and transforming them into evangelists.

What Product Marketing Looks like at CareerPlug:
For extreme clarity, we want to highlight some differences between traditional Product Marketing and the Senior Product Marketing Manager – Customer Marketing & Partner Enablement. Traditional Product Marketing has some common expectations that we’ll rely mostly on our marketing team to deliver:

  •  Marketing will “own” sales enablement (and we’ll help give the ingredients such as new feature positioning, and solution-focused  competitive intel which marketing will use to help deliver enablement, etc.)
  • Marketing will “own” customer acquisition (we’ll focus more on trial conversion, expansion, and retention).
  • Exec team “owns” pricing/packaging (however, marketing, product, and customer-facing teams will all be consulted)

Job Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in product marketing, enablement, ABM, demand gen, and/or product management, preferably in a B2B SaaS company (HR tech is a huge plus!)
  • Strong persuasive writing skills and a sense of what motivates people to take action
  • Passion for understanding customers, their problems, and experiences
  • Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative tech products
  • Proven ability to work with product and go-to-market teams to bring new products to market and meet goals
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a SaaS environment and energized by driving client behavior, adoption and value through scalable solutions
  • HubSpot Marketing Hub experience preferred
  • Experience using AI to support first-draft writing, enhance productivity, test variations, facilitate brainstorming, and assist with analysis

Benefits:

  • Work from home (we're fully remote)
  • Employer Paid Health Insurance
  • Unlimited PTO (with minimums!)
  • One-week paid PTO (pre-start date)
  • 401(k) Company Match

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
